IRR endeavours to achieve its mission and goals through three programs, namely: The Learning Community Program, the Education and Training Program, and the Publication and Communication Program The Learning Community Program is designed to enable people and their communities to effect meaningful change in their lives by means of research and learning processes. Through practical experience, knowledge is generated concerning participatory human development. The Education and Training Program and the Publication and Communication Program are designed to share knowledge to reinforce the capacities of learning communities, development practitioners and international development institutions to promote participatory human development. Institutional capability building is achieved with partner agencies through these two programs.
